STEAM ROOM UPDATES
 

The steam room is just about ready...ish. Hopefully within days. I was going to come up with a bunch of fluffy corporate wording but I've decided to just spill it all and let you know EXACTLY what is happening and what to expect. 

The interior is pretty much complete. What we are waiting on now is a brand new steam generator. Unfortunately, the one that we purchased had to be built from scratch and they won't give us a solid ETA. Once it does arrive, it's a bit of a process to get it installed. 

So here's what we've decided to do...

You may remember that before the revitalization project began on the steam room, we were having some problems with the existing generator. It would be down for a day and then work for a few days and then go down again. It was annoying. 

Our maintenance team, and owners, are working to refurbish that existing unit in an effort to allow us to open the steam room ASAP. If successful, we can get the steam room open this week in time for Pride weekend. This would be a soft open. No huge announcements, no grand opening party simply because the new steam generator won't be in yet. Plus, once the new unit does arrive, we will have to take it back offline for a couple of days to install the new unit. (This will likely be done at the beginning of the week during our slowest times.) 

Once the new unit is in and I consider the project to be "complete" we will have a big grand opening party.  

PRIDE Weekend

Pride weekend is next weekend! Here's what to expect:

Friday 5/30 is the big furry party YinzFur. There will be furries and pups and bears and twinks and just about everyone that you can imagine. This is a big dance party on the bottom floor of the club in the evening. It is going to be extremely busy and we will likely sell out of all rentals including lockers.

Saturday 5/31 is a party called "The Afters" and it is run by the same people who host Obsidian. This will be a late night dance party again on the bottom floor. There will be multiple performers, DJ's, and vendors. There will also be a food truck outside. This night is one of the busiest nights of the year and we will also sell out of all rentals during this party. 

Sunday 6/1 is BearUnion. It's like CumUnion but more bear centric. This party generally sees a really nice crowd but we predict that it will be even more populated because of Pride weekend. 

Entry info and suggestions:

We've got a pretty high maximum occupancy. It is a large building and it's rare that we ever get close to reaching maximum occupancy. During Pride weekend and Anthrocon however, we come pretty close. 

With the recent happenings at local businesses, we've decided to remain about 30 people under occupancy and strictly enforce a one out-one-in method once we're full. 

If you would like to guarantee yourself entry, we suggest arriving as early as possible.

You can also purchase a rental and then leave if you have other stuff to do. Your time will continue to count down while you're gone, but when you return you won't have to go through the entire check-in process again. 

You also have the ability to purchase multiple time blocks upfront. If you know you're going to be at the club for a long time, you can purchase two or three blocks of time upfront. 

Other Events

 

Every Saturday we now have rotating late night dance parties.

One is called MeatSpin. MeatSpin is an open deck night with LAVENDER/MANIC to highlight queer and amateur DJs. Want to try your hand at spinning a set? Sign up sheet available for timeslots in a first cum first serve basis. No equipment necessary but feel free to bring your own. No clothing requirements.

Another one of the rotating parties is HEAVEN DEVINE DANCE & PLEASURE PARTY

This party begins at Midnight on floor 2. DJ Archangel (They/Them) will be playing a mix of dancy pop music. Guest DJs may also join in throughout the night.

The vibe is queer/trans cutsieness with the atmosphere being shades of pink and blue.

Lights will be low and play furniture will be out. No clothing requirements.

Refreshments will also be available until 4-5am.

This party is all gender.

Other rotating themes and events will be mixed in on Saturday's as well. 

We have also moved our T4M parties to Saturday and increased it to once per month. Attendance for this party seems to be growing very quickly and it is becoming one of our more popular parties every month. If you are reading this on Saturday 5/24, the next installment of this party is tonight.

Other Updates

 

The floor 3 hallway has received a brand new paint job. Check out the dungeony look of the new red and black paints. 

The second floor will begin receiving some new floor tile in the next couple of weeks. This project will likely ramp up shortly after Pride weekend. 

The rooftop lounge area will be covered in brand new fake grass. It will feel nice and soft on your feet and provide a nice look. We already have the grass and are waiting for a clear, dry day to install it. This will hopefully be done before Pride weekend.
